Somehow, I don't think you were. I think you've pasted that from another website, like with all your other threads. The spelling & grammar is too good anyway for you to have written it, Paul.
I was on BBC Midlands Today, for about 2 seconds in the headlines, about Dudley's Hospitals Strike Action in 2001 I think, and my mum was on with me, and she was on later in the background of a Live interview outside Russells Hall Hospital, Dudley.
My parents being my parents managed to get me on TV-am when they used to the birthdays once. But more recently not much, I was interviewed by Sky News a couple of years ago on my opinion of the Queen's Jubilee (because they were in the village I lived in which has some film of it showing the Queen's coronation in 1953) but to my knowledge I don't think it got shown. The BBC were at our school in 2001 filming a documentary about a couple of teachers in training, though I am sure they filmed stuff where I was in shot they didn't show it, though no-one saw it anyway as it went out against Coronation Street.
Though when I was in Manchester today I walked past a camera team from North West Tonight outside the Urbis centre, though they weren't filming as the reporter was on her phone.
A few years ago i was wandering about rather stunned in the daylight on "lunch" break (ofcourse wearing shades against the radiation) when a charming young lady bushwhacked me with a camera. 'Twas just before Christmas, and The Oxford Channel (Six TV) were putting together some festive stuff involving random passers-by (if not 100% viewers )
Eak!! So, thanking God for the gift of the gab, spouted forth for a few minutes and - got onto the Xmas Loop, "glad to see my face among them kissing the tortoise shell".
Every hour throughout the Festive Season and into Hogmanay
, Heaven help the coverage area Daughters said they'd videoed
(? is this a word? might be in the Shorter Ox. by 2050)
but it's gone to ground
More boring still - another appearance way back In The Days Of Black And White on HTV 6 O'Clock News being a protestor, but can't quite remember what that was about...
