When I send a text message I do it in 'proper' English. Then if I'm a few characters short to fit one last word it, I go back and replace "you" with "u" and so on until the word fits.


It's quite funny actually.My mum has inerited my sister's old phone, and the other day, one of her friends sent a text message to my mum's phone and it took us about 10 minutes to figure out what it said! With text speak it was barely possible to undetstand it.

Yeah, I'm not sure what to expect? They say a phased role out, but the only places BBCi was mentioned online was on the home page (and it still is as of 14.36) and on the grey menu bar which was changed a few weeks ago.

A thought they'd just drop all mention of BBCi on the front page with a fuller redesign later in May as described.

Oh dear! I think they need to work on that image a bit!

And it still says BBCi at the top!

Looks like a bit of a botch-job to me. Hopefully a full revamp of the homepage won't be too far off.

The BBCi Logo has also been removed from the 404 not found page, replaced by 404

The image on the home page is a bit too big.

Ariel said something about 17th May for the full roll-out, but I'm not sure whether that's relevent or not as I only glanced at it on my way past!! So it could really have said anything!!
