On a side note, have BBC sport got a new license for sports highlights on the internet? I've just started to notice they've managed to add more video footage of football matches and they're streaming the Stella Artois tennis this afternoon....

The Beeb have just got radio Premiership commentary rights for the next few years too and this includes broadcasting matches over the net so they've probably been renegotiating with a few other sport contractors too.

And they'll be broadcasting the Olympic games over the broadband console in August- they're testing a new system to share the content with ISPs to prevent the entire bbc.co.uk network being brought down by expected huge demand.

Look at the amount of references to BBCi there still are on the feedback page - http://www.bbc.co.uk/feedback/ ! There's even a link to http://www.bbc.co.uk/home/whatisbbci/ - which is of course now, non-existant.

That's strange - go to http://www.bbc.co.uk/broadband/index.shtml and click on Contact Us at the bottom of the left-hand menu. It seems to go to http://www.bbc.co.uk/feedback , but goes to a different page. Oh well - it's the broadband feedback page I was talking about.

There are literally thousands and thousands and thousands of pages on bbc.co.uk, it was never going to be an overnight task removing the "i" from everything...

Because the article I believe you took that cap from[1] refers to two polls - one conducted for ITV News and one conducted for Sky News. Hence the reference.
