Excellent - really good fun programme. I enjoyed the anti Hutton comments and the Blair jibes. Seeing the Harriett Harman 'Gordon Brown PM' bit from Question Time again was superb.
However any hope of Greg Dyke returning must have been killed off by this show.
I think he was good, a bit awkward at times but still funny.
Incidentally, was it just viewers in London who got the promo for Danny Baker's Breakfast Show after HIGNFY? It was only five seconds or so long, so I'm wondering what was shown elsewhere if it was just regional.
Though Danny Baker was dreadful throughout, sycophantically bashing the table at every joke that wafted across the table, while being outclassed by three true comedians, and then trying (and failing) to start an equally sycophantic standing ovation for Dyke.

Wotta prat.
You obviously missed at least three applauded jokes coming from Danny Baker.
Though I don't really watch HIGNFY but I thoroughly enjoyed it tonight, I was expecting more from Amarndo Ianucci (sp?) but Greg Dyke and Danny Baker were on top form and were really funny, though Greg got off to a slow start his performace improved and he did cut the crap.
Please make Greg Dyke the permanent presenter of Have I Got News For You. It'd be a wonderful opportunity for him to get his own back at the government time and time again.
Anyone else think it'd be a great move by the BBC to do this?

He was great, what are you on about? In fact both guests (Armando and Danny) were on top form and delivered well above the normal guest contribution. Greg wasn't great, but he's never really been used to being on-screen and with a lineup like that it's difficult to get a word in edgeways
Also remember that Greg Dyke and Danny Baker go back a long way together, Back in the early 80's Greg was editor of LWT's The 6 O Clock Show and hired Danny as a presenter
Danny Baker got quite a few laughs & applauses as well. He stood up at the end because he was taking the p*ss. All where funny last night & yes I am going to watch the repeat if I remember it is on. Paul Merton kept a bit quiter than usual but then I suppose his guest panelist did contribute more than what some do.
I got both DVD's of HIGNFY & watching Piers Morgan trying to get the audience go against Ian Hislop & losing is funny & shows what a tw*t he is. I hope he doesn't send photographers round to my house now
