ITV1 Schedule Change on Thursday

Due to extra football coverage ITV1's schedule on Thursday night looks much different than published:

7.00 Emmerdale - as billed
7.30 UEFA Cup Semi Final Newcastle v Marseille
9.45 Murder City - was 9.00
10.30 ITV News
11.00 Murder City
12.00 Film: Psycho - as billed

The Bill and 3 regional programmes will no longer be showing

The 7.30pm Regional Programme will be shown at a later date, probably in a fortnight
The 11.00pm Regional Programme will now be shown on Monday at 11.00pm
The 11.30pm Regional Programme will now be shown on Monday at 11.30pm

A recorded announcement before the usual 3:10 ITV1 Border filler this afternoon made me aware of these changes but looking at the Sky Guide seconds later it has not been changed.
Thought I'd been hearing things for a minute.

So does this mean a 15 minute chunk is going to be cut out of Murder City?

19:30 regional programmes aren't currently scheduled for a week on Thursday - it's the start of the regional Britain on the Move thing. Maybe they'll go in the Tuesday 19:30 slot which is new next week (Our House back on Central, yay)

Is 1130pm on a Friday for regional programming as Border are doing a new series of their politics programme - Taking Sides. I'm just wondering what set they will use, it used to be the old Lookaround set, but it was all different colours projected. But I don't think that can be done on the new set, unless there is another set.

Yeah, that's been a regional slot for a few weeks.

Murder City is a 90 minute programme and is now on for 100 minutes. So instead of being cut by 15 minutes it will be extendes ( bulked out by adverts)

On the SKY EPG it says the Film starts at 11:55 and not as billed as at 12:00.

No doubt Murder City fans will moan its on a little too late tonight.

Oh and as for Tonights Local 7:30 Programme well the recorded announcer yesterday on a lot of the regional 'before news' idents said it will be on a week a monday at 8 instead of tonight.

Strange ....... no production credits on the match.

I saw the ITV1 Granada ident they used at 7.30pm, thought it was strange to have before a National programme. The match tonight was originally supposed to be shown on ITV2. But what I would like to know is since when has ITV had the rights to the UEFA Cup, I always thought that was only on BBC2 or Five, or do they buy it on a match basis rather than a season, like the Champions League.

Very annoyed that The Last Word will be on Monday now!

I'm very cross with ITV for doing this. Changing the schedule to put in a Football match - i can see lots of people complaining. Whats happened to The Bill then?
