Interesting that the computer behind Greg at the top of 0700 seems to have the Sky CCTV cameras on it.

Yes, they've had a shot of adrenaline each and they are up on their feet for a new "dynamic" look to Sunrise !! Hmmm...........

Well at least they are doing something different... not sure that standing up and delivering the same programme agenda is really going to work.

That said, the TOTH sequence is much improved.

But those straps. Honestly, what were they thinking? When you see the cleverness of the News 24 ones, the brightness of ITV's... you wonder whether they realise just how shoddy they look compared to everyone else.

Well done to them for the production since 7am. I know you're all going to say that it's just the same as Sky News Today but at least they've changed from just sitting behind the desk. I certainly have thought it was mutch more watchable.

On the graphics - well the opners are as expected but those red and white straps, please get rid and that awful non-moving ticker as well

I am glad to see some change, but give it time to settle and then I'll comment.

If all the straps are Red and White now, how will Breaking News be presented? Confused

I have to say I think the 'new' graphics are a step in the right direction. The white straps with the red line at the top are a bit tidier than the old ones, and a bit more stylish, although they'd look much better if the white was semi-transparent - they do look a bit cheap at the moment. And I really like the nice dark blue background for split screens.

I still prefer the News 24 graphics but, in any case, it appears that the nasty big slug has been banished!

A mistake, a hint, who knows, we'll see soon enough!

Do not like the new titles. They go so fast, it's very difficult to work out what's happening. Preferred the less fussy titles that we had before.

I've woken up just after 9am and I have to say I have seen no difference to astons etc at all... Only thing that sticks out is the static ticker.

I did catch the silent spinning globe before the weather just a few minutes ago and that was slightly different mind.

Is this all because SKY News won NCOTY award last night at the BAFTAs?

The TOTH ident looks good, just like the Aussie one, but I'm not sure about the titles after the headlines - they look a bit like one of Martin's Flash recreations - don't know what it is, but the countries just look a bit flat compared to the previous version.

Other graphics aren't much of a step forward, really (although the blue background for the two-ways is good) and I especially don't like the use of red and white all the time - worked great for the Sky News Flash strap as an attention grabber, but not all the time.

Sports graphics are also nothing special - I thought they would go the way of their PFA Footballer of the Year graphics last week, with a nice background shot of a football pitch, a bit like BBC Sport, but nice all the same.

This opener was somewhat confusing.

The TOTH titles were the old ones, with no changes to the headline sequence, then the sting into the two presenter shot was new...

Every time I've seen Sky News have a new look start at 6am, it's done the same thing - start at exactly 6am, with the old ident (and, previously, menu) going into the new headline sequence.

That slogan on the "static ticker" (!) is there presumably because of the simulcast with Five, where pressing red & select doesn't bring up Active.

No, because there isn't a News Channel of the Year BAFTA. It was awarded by the RTS in Feburary.

Sky News UK is actually simulcasted on Star World at 06:30 GMT+8. It should be 22.30pm in UK? I wonder if there is any news at the moment cause I see a complete bulletin at 6.30am which is 22.30 over in UK. Or is it recorded on Star World?
