I think Adi Ferreira has a secret up his sleve... and why does he always act suspiciously like he as something to hide ...?! He should be the one who is killed off, not Laura! What is Ian playing at (Kathy's Cafe) ? He is going to be in trouble when Phil gets back. Pat and Mo are so funny, they think they can loose weight! Ha. The Story with JJ and the Trumans is excellent, and very well acted out. And as established above, it is to do with the Taking Care Season on the BBC. I like Shirley, she's a good charactor! And... is Dan Ferreira coming back?

Bring back Peggy !

Dear me, are you watching the same show?

It must be the first time EastEnders has done a proper fostering storyline (as opposed to adoption or taking care of a child through other circumstances), and it's certainly a positive step to show an older, black couple discussing the option of fostering.

Didn't Mark and Ruth Fowler adopt a kid in the 90's?

Ahhh... yes they did, they fostered a young girl called Jessie.

Forgot about that, sorry Smile

That's taking a step back - next he'll be calling it Café Osman Laughing

PS. Why are EE turning Ian back into what he was a few years ago? Don't turn Ian back into a nasty, scheming money-grabber, let's see more of his human side again.

I feel that Sam will try and buy the cafe back off Ian before Phil returns.

"I like Shirley, she's a good charactor!"

Hard luck - Shirley left last week. She had potential but the character was underused and Robyn Moore's acting was patchy at times.

"And... is Dan Ferreira coming back?"

Not if the Home Office can help it Smile The actor who played him got into trouble for working in the UK after his visa had expired, and the Home Office were looking into his case, claiming that special circumstances could be considered as he was a popular character.

Their words, not ours.

"Bring back Peggy !"

When she was in EastEnders, I always hated the character of Peggy, she seemed too nosey, irritating and on her high horse too often, and I've not missed her character's absence for the past year. That's not a slur on Babs Windsor, who IMO is a lively and fun actress and individual.

Has she left for good, or is it a long long holiday?

No, she took some time out because of a health scare. She's expected to return, but who knows?

Peggy (Babs Windsor) is [I]supposed [/I ]to be returning sometime this year… but at the moment it does not look like she is as I've seen her in an advertt for Spanish Villas which features Frank from Easties (Mike Read)

Quite a few characters have left recently... Phil, Anthony, Barry, Ricky, Shirley... and what with Laura, Lynne, Yolande and Pat all leaving this year, and hopefully Dan Ferreira never returning, they are going to be a bit thin on the ground character wise. What though about the news that Joanna Lumley is going to be playing Dirty Den's love interest.. Could be quite exciting!!

Pat is not leaving this year. Pam St. Clement has just signed a new £200,000 contract.

They couldn't get rid of good old Pat!

Is it me, or is EastEnders looking rather grey at the moment. It's like there's not enough colour or something. Perhaps they're just trying to make it seem as dull as the story lines at the moment. Confused

Dunno about the colour, but somebody needs to shoot Adi Ferriera.
