I agree. I've never liked Peggy, either version, but Barbara just can't act to save her life. When she tries doing the emotional stuff I just ending up laughing at her. I'm sure Barbara is a nice person, but I certainly don't rate her as an actress. Personally speaking I don't particularlly care if Peggy never returns, or Phil for that matter - both annoy the hell out of me.

When she was in EastEnders, I always hated the character of Peggy, she seemed too nosey, irritating and on her high horse too often, and I've not missed her character's absence for the past year. That's not a slur on Babs Windsor, who IMO is a lively and fun actress and individual.
