Alan Carr's Epic Gameshow

Pretty much a retake on Gameshow Marathon in my opinion. (May 2020)

I thought Alan Carr looked bored during the filming of Bullseye. If they do commission a run of this, which I don't think they will, I would like to see it hosted by Lee Mack. I saw Lee in a pro celebrity darts programme a few years back and he was a decent darts player, not that that matters to host the show, but it could add an extra dimension.

I didn't like the new end game with four boards, they should have stuck with the classic 101 in six darts, and if the first couple refuse then bring back on the other couples from earlier to gamble their winnings.

Also what happened to the pro dart player coming on to throw for charity?

It wasn't a remake of Bullseye

It was Epic Gameshow, this week featuring Bullseye

That's true enough, not every programme had to be an exact replica of the format - especially as Bullseye itself changed its format and rounds on a number of occasions.

It's like saying Top Gear needs to include reports on road safety, because it did in the eighties.

Though I’d find it fascinating to see how modern Top Gear would do road safety reports!

I don’t know why your post is in spoiler tags. But yes it looks like it’s a third US version, I wouldn’t call it a ‘reboot’.

That Showcase reveal made no sense - they just seemed to stop at £29k (which he guessed) and appeared to move the £3k window around it when it should have been £26k to £29k.

No one understood it last time, either.

Yes, I think everyone said that when The Price is Right appeared in the main series. It seemed to only exist because the end games in all the series had a pyramid link

I think the £3K window was correct, as he could be up to £3K under but not 1p over. For example with his £2900 guess the prize value couldn't be £2899 or lower, as his guess would have been over. This rule was the same in original series. Maybe a tiny bit more explaining of that margin window graphics would have helped.

Yeah, the 3K window was 29-32k, which is correct.

Name That Tune will be added to the list of shows for the new series. Think it is the only new addition though.
