So when Biden is declared then Fox will not call him president-elect according to CNN which is utterly stupid and make them the network that sums it up for the president's bidding. CNN rightly calling them out.

I suspect the backlash they’ve got from calling Arizona early is part of the reason for this. Perhaps Fox will spend the next 4 years pretending Biden isn’t in the White House to avoid upsetting their audience.

I think the point is that he will be at 270 votes regardless of whether Arizona is called correctly so it's rather silly of Fox not to call him president-elect.

I’m not disagreeing with that. My point is it’s probably Fox trying appease their base having already seen them turn on them once in the last few days.

Yup I agree with what you said. For FOX though, they are going to have to tie away from Trump eventually because we know this is nearly over and the legal challenges aren't going to stack up really.

I think the Fox audience who back the president will expect those legal challenges to run their course though, rather than being dismissed out of hand. Once that’s settled it’ll be difficult for Trump’s base to believe he’s being cheated (although of course many still will).

I also think if Biden takes all the states that are leaning blue, Trump will end up conceding anyway. I don’t see how it’s in his interest to keep making trouble if it comes down to him having to win court cases in more than one or two case to flip the electoral college in his favour.

Anything is possible with this president. But I also think pragmatism will set in somewhere. These court cases cost money which I’m not sure they have and the more he winds up his opponents, I think the more likely they’re going to be eager to prosecute him for something.

WFAA 8 Dallas - The Tegna-owned ABC affiliate went all out for the election. They built as special set for their Texas coverage and a special analyst area down the hall. It featured banners and lighting. Of course its not network level, but i think it was a notible effort by an affilate without millions to spend on this. Well done to WFAA.

Trump is rumoured to have huge debts, court costs are only going to add to that.

Although I’d doubt he’d be funding them personally, I suspect their isn’t going to be a bottomless pit of money as apparently the campaign didn’t have much money to begin with.

His debts are more than rumour. This NY Times tome is a amazing piece of investigative journalism. Grab a cuppa, finda comfy chair and settle in for a long read.

The Times obtained Donald Trump’s tax information extending over more than two decades, revealing struggling properties, vast write-offs, an audit battle and hundreds of millions in debt coming due .
