She's also got a new show on ITV as part of Black History Month called Charlene and Friends.
I do love Charlene's career path - put in the hours on the ITV Morning News for what seemed like years and then given a shot when the Morning News was axed as a relief presenter on the daytime and weekend bulletins and now regularly hosting the Evening News. Is she still officially the host of London Tonight as well - IIRC she got that role when Nina became the main lunchtime host (and Nina doesn't seem to appear now too often outside of lunchtime) but as she's been mainly covering for Mary since returning from maternity leave I assume she hasn't yet returned to London Tonight.

Well that’s what happens with cover presenters isn’t it. On all the time during the holidays, and then once Mary returns probably next week, you’ll be lucky to see her on the nationals once a week

Agreed. It feels like it's been Lucrezia as the main presenter for years because all of the other presenters seem to go through phases - Nina would do loads, then lunchtimes only. Geraint has done a few stints. Charlene rarely would do a full week. Lucrezia has done at least 2 days a week for ages consistently, which is great IMO.

Is Duncan freelance? A couple of years ago he was on overnights on the BBC News Channel as well as his ITV work. Can't think of many presenters who have done stints for different broadcasters alongside each other.
