Think the gun was jumped a bit by a few sites and they meant they were adding the channel to the EPG on that day rather than actually launching it. I assume it will happen soon enough.
Pop are currently hinting a rebrand at the end of most promos. Cant wait to see the style.
Current logo is five years old and the previous one lasted five years before being replaced, so not much of a surprise. I wonder if it'll be aligned closer to the other Sony channels?

The Pop channels are the only remaining legacy of the CSC channels, with all other channels which Sony or Trace now own having been either rebranded or closed.
I wonder if the Pop name will survive, or if they will rebrand it to something like Sony Kids.
I wouldn't count out a Sony Kids style name, especially if Sony want to promote a range of channels on Freeview, covering general entertainment, films and kids programming.
Only thing is that there is Pop, Tiny Pop and Pop Max, so would they remain as 3 separate channels and what names could they give them that wont sound awful?

Sony Kids, Sony Junior and Sony Max?
Although judging from the promos, it seems more like a rebrand with the existing Pop Logo.

Those 3 sound like plausible names and a good way to bring everything under one brand. If they aren't showing music videos any more, having a name like Pop hardly suits the channels.
