They only just rolled out their own app on Freeview Play, Freesat and Youview last year.

Presumably these will now be shut down in favor of My5?

No. They only mentioned two of the channels there, isn't there two other CBS channels?

what
Yes.

In the UK currently they have Horror, CBS Reality, CBS Drama and CBS Justice.

Still not fully sure why they brand Horror Channel the same as the rest of the CBS channels but it does not have a CBS prefix. Also, considering the majority of its daytime content is programmes and not films, why it gets listed in the film section on Sky?

Yeah, that's weird, especially since they have included the CBS eye logo in idents.

Considering it's a Universal owned channel, it'll just take over NOW 80s on COM7.

Why is Hunting Hitler shown FTA on Discovery owned DMAX in the UK when it is a History channel show from the US (owned by A&E Networks)? Should it not be on A&E owned FTA Blaze in the UK?

There is nothing to stop any channel buying any other provider's shows for their own network if that's what they want to do.

Anyway I'm sure they've done it just to annoy you Wink

It may have been broadcast by History in the US but it wasn't produced by them, so the independent production company (Karga 7 Pictures) is free to sell it to who they like. I suspect History/A&E may had had the option for global rights and declined.

Not major enough to warrant an own thread but for some reason BBC News HD was given the name LewisEWS HD for a period of 5 minutes? Any reason behind this or am I just going insane?
