As if Dominic Cummings hasn't done enough to piss families off this weekend he's now cancelled the main family film of the bank holiday schedules.

If he turned up on time, they wouldn't have this issue.

Based on recent days that won't even be long enough to see the slides let alone any of the questions. I can only assume that journalists aren't being invited to ask questions this evening if they think a 20 minute slot is sufficient.

I don’t see why they need to take it on BBC One, let alone why they took Cummings on BBC One. Assuming it ends at EXACTLY 19:20 that’s 3 hours and 50 minutes of non stop news. Alongside the 4 hours in the morning, 20 minutes at lunch and 25 at Ten that’s over 8 hours of news coverage during the daytime on the country’s most watched TV channel.

Oh and it’s a bank holiday.

Paddington 2 now scheduled for 19:40. A total of 8 hours and 45 minutes of news on BBC One today excluding overnights. That is compared to the usual amount of around 4 hours 45 (pre covid)

Seems pointless to keep pushing back Paddington 2. Just easier just to drop it and reschedule it for a later date,

According to the EPG it’s still at 20:40, which is clearly wrong. Surely they should drag out the news special long enough to be able to make it suitable to keep one episode of Normal People and scrap one?

Still scheduled for 20:40, they just haven't updated the schedule that far ahead yet.

Paddington 2 is only listed for an hour which is wrong. Somethings gotta give in the schedule later on.
