I remember that short song too! Didn’t the Riddlers feature in the verse too?
The jingle did change in September 1998 to the one used until summer 2003 (albeit with variations). That set of idents launched with the first episode of SM:TV Live at the end of August 1998 with the spiked logo.

I love it! I loved the 98 version and the previous version.
Happy memories.

Am I right in thinking there were two sets of the 1998 idents?
Something in the back of mind is saying they had ones for Pre-School when it started at 3.25pm and more lively ones starting roughly at 4pm for the remainder of the kids shows.

Even though I preferred the 1989-1991 idents, I did like the 1991-1993 'Next', 'Later', 'Tomorrow' continuity jingles. You could tell Central was in control coming up with so many variations of these and music. Even though the sun and moon imagery took centre stage in these inter-programme jingles, they weren't used at all after 1993 even though they were still part of the main logo, which was a shame.

Central only won it back by submitting a extremely low bid, I have no idea why there wanted it back so Badly, Ie tommy pay and a desk.

Central did do presentation very well, and I wonder if that harks back to the ATV days. While some of the idents may not have aged that well, or at all - the cohesive yet different design of all the elements was a major plus.
CITV was no different, and having such a wide array of styles available all meeting a similar brief was Central's forte - wasn't one of their subsidaries a branding unit that made idents and graphics for indies and smaller ITV regions?

Anyone remember the "Be Part of it" era in the early 00s? The idents were changed to basic ones of kids doing stuff and then it said "he's part of it" when they changed the studio to me all metal looking with neon lights, the idents didn't last long but I think the studio stayed the same until the awful white one with Andy.

Telly Tots:
(Christmas variation)
There was at least two (non Xmas) versions of this I believe, or at least a variation with a "sponsored by" tacked on it.
