The changes that happened on Monday were that the DOGs are all now consistent with each other and are now mono, with no colours in sight. It also includes the updated 'flat' version of the UKTV nebula logo.
The network ECP and Menus have been designed to be cleaner and more in line with the current updated logo.

I spotted a new whiter network menu going out the other night, although I'm usually not recording the last break where these tend to come up so didn't capture it.
Mind I was recording this evening on Dave in the 8.50 break. It was a standard Dave menu rather than the network one, although slightly amusingly as it looks as though the ECP animation may have gotten mixed up with the menu one.

Ooops! Basically, the TX info is manually painfully inputted by Media Planning into the template and the ID generated is placed in the schedule. Which can take a few hours to create for a whole week's navigation, I can see how that mix up happened.

Heh, I know I've made considerably more errors when manually inputting details into the script template I use for videos - I'm just usually lucky enough to have the chance to ninja in a fix before anyone else spots it!
Personally I find the occasional thing slipping through to broadcast makes everything feel a bit more human anyway. Although I doubt anyone but us even notices!

Yep, that launched in all junctions close to 9pm across the network yesterday (15th). An idea that came out of the VM dispute/celebrating UKTV. There is a 60 second version as well.

For those who like to occasionally know what 623058 is referring to, the new promo, as it was aired on Dave last night. Whilst the 'We are xxx' approach may have been a bit done to death by companies now, you can't help but admire how they've managed to fit some of the little things in. Even in just the 40 second version as well as the channels which you'd expect, they manage to squeeze in UKTV Play and their 'Originals' branding. Blink and you can easily miss Eden's logo mind!

All UKTV channels are free to watch until Jan 7th on virgin. I guess its an apology to viewers after the fallout this year.

Not really unless they are refunding the subscribers who are paying for those channels for the period when they are free
