The daft things is that Pip Thompson was on the show in the studio could she not have stood in as newsreader?

Would be nice to see Pip Thompson get a shot at being newsreader/anchor one day. Growing up with her as weather girl on Tyne Tees it’s nice to see her now on the national breakfast show.

She also had great chemistry with Ben. You could see even from them chatting to her as a correspondent
