I can't imagine Tom Bradby letting him off that easy if he's on tonight.

Yes, Peston on Sunday used Studio 3 at The London Studios. I am sure he will fit very easily into Studio TC2 at Television Centre, which is just the right size for his show. I don't think he will use Studio TC3, as there are hints they want to be able to rent that studio out at weekends to other audience based shows, as weekdays that vital studio will be block booked by ITV Daytime.

Thought they’d make some reference to this just now on the 6.30 news but it was business as normal.

The thing is if you go on air and take the piss in these circumstances, karma dictates you'll have an even worse misspeak at some point in the future, it's so easily done.

It's not just the journos, a good few years ago listening to Radio Leeds during a snow problem and they were doing a live phone interview with a council bod. He obviously knew the presenter but hadn't realised that he had moved station, so he happily urged people wanting up to date information to keep listening... to Radio Aire. Which was a bit awkward.

When David Hamilton joined Reading's Radio 210 from the Beeb, for the first couple of weeks he'd often say; "............here on Radio Two............................................One,Oh ! "

Gillian Joseph on Sky News has apologised for reporting "Fake"News. In reference to a story about Florence Nightingale she said Mary Nightingale instead.

And similarly just now handed over to Gamal in the studio ... only for it to be Niall Paterson in the studio (Gamal had been in the studio during Sunrise I think).

Happens to the best of us - and Gillian has been quite brilliant these last few days

Brigid Nzekwu has just presented the ITV News bulletin. Is this usual? I didn't realise she was still with ITN. Then again, I don't often see the Saturday lunchtime bulletin so I may have missed her on previous occasions. Nice to see her anyway.

Looking on the ITV hub, there is a brief glimpse of the titles at the very end where they would fade out. Looks like someone was starting to mix to the studio and then realised the mistake.
