Sportsday bulletin cancelled and straight back to Ben Brown at the end of the One O'clock News (on the BBC News Channel). Intending to go to Matthew Price at Parsons Green soon but link not yet available, so gone to Cobra meeting instead.

Parsons Green station was fine when I passed through this morning ....
Just got back from a rather busy London! Was amazed by the number of ENG cameras that were still HDV though.

That's a 10l trade size tub of emulsion, not a bucket. Seems more like some guy's drill battery exploding than anything else.
How much is it costing per hour to have G-TAKE circling over West London filming an explosion that happened 6 hours ago?
The Tube line is only 15ft off the ground at Parsons Green; you can see onto the tracks from the buildings surrounding the line, most of which are several storeys higher than the railway.
This is part of the District Line to Wimbledon, of course, hence why it's Underground overground.

Looking back at this and the events of recent years and today is sad reminder of where we are now. Thankfully no one was killed and according to SkyNews the injured werent seriously hurt.
This video also reminds us how different SkyNews is now. Sigh....
Is Matthew Price on BBC World as well? He started without giving the name of the studio News Channel presenter, at what seemed almost exactly 2 minutes past 3.
SkyNEws Reporter Gavin Ramjaun's report about the blast is being played out on CBS affiliates across the US. He signed off by saying Gavin Ramjaun for CBS News.
