Tube Explosion: 15 September 2017

Reports are coming in of an incident on a London tube train, which happened at 08.20am around parson green station

Nothing confirmed yet whether it is a terrorist attack. Hope to god it's not.

BBC's Riz Lateef happened to be at Parsons Green and Sophie Raworth also there reporting live for Victoria Derbyshire.

Sophie Raworth was at the scene at the start of VD for the BBC, with Tina Daheley and some correspondant called Matthew giving updates in the studio.

Eeek. Well this definitely isn't malfunctioning equipment.

Hopefully a much smaller scale incident, but this news is breaking during the 9am hour of Sunrise with Stephen Dixon. What terrible symmetry . . .

It doesn't look big enough to be terrorist related.

TV helicopter at the scene now. The BBC's G-TAKE (according to FlightRadar) providing a pool feed it seems as Sky News have just been using live footage from it.

Whether it's 'terrorist' related or not has nothing to do with the size of the incident or the device. It's down to intent.
