Yes. And the BBC renewed with the ATP for the World Tour Finals at the 02, the afternoon singles and Sunday evening final extension on the existing deal for another couple of years during last year's tournament.

Maybe Sky were losing interest in Tennis? They dropped the US Open, after the 2015 edition. They could've went in for the Davis Cup, after Eurosport UK dropped it, but haven't. The article in the Guardian suggests Sky did make a bid for the ATP, but not the amount they got it for the last time. Perhaps Sky were hoping to get it, on the cheap, but Amazon were prepared to offer more.

Sky may be surprised at this move, but Amazon had mentioned before, or it was mentioned, Amazon were interested in possible tennis rights. So this isn't much of a surprise.

One set of rights to look out next, are the rights for the SPFL in Scotland. Word has it, according to some newspapers (whether you believe them is another matter) BT Sport are looking for exclusive Pay tv rights to it, or, in one paper, they claimed Sky were not interested in the rights. Believe what you want! But anyway, it'll be interesting to see what the outcome is for those rights.

The BBC only signed a new deal for Queens in January, lasts until 2024

Isn't it fairly common place for global 'series' to allow local organisers to strike deals for local coverage in addition to the main coverage? E.G. - even though the BBC lost live IAAF Diamond League rights, they still show the British events live because they come under it's deal with British Athletics

That's correct, for example BT Sport has rights for all of the WTA tour except Nottingham, Birmingham and Eastbourne (and the grand slams of course).

Eurosport also have Linz and Luxembourg rather than BT. They've also showed the latter stages of a couple of other tournaments on the quiet on Eurosport Player.

To clarify, the Amazon-ATP deal is from 2019 onwards according to the Telegraph, so Sky will still have it next year.

Ha ... The issues of down the tube commentating ITV4
Audi Cup Liverpool '3rd Goal' scored, loads of replays, cutback to action, commentators not aware that chalked off, apparently believing that the KO had been taken, not aware of the disallowed goal. Took three - four mins before they noted that the goal wasn't.

BBC also have a deal for Eastbourne until 2024, the BBC also have a deal for the ATP World Tour Finals until 2019 and that's probably the biggest tournament they could lose but they may not be interested in the rights if they also move away from the O2 Arena.

They are in London until at least 2020.

They also missed the first ninety seconds of the match, because a thunderstorm caused a power cut. But of course it's not just commentating off-tube when commentators can't spot disallowed goals - in the U21 Championships a few years back, Martin Tyler was under the impression England had scored for a few minutes, but it had been disallowed, and he was there.

looks like Bundesliga is getting a bit of a graphics refresh - very flat, with smooth animations. Quite similar to the Premier League's new set from last year, in fact.

edit: It appears the league's got a new logo too. Bundesliga Clubs magazine, currently on BT Sport 3, keeps jumping between the new watermark, and the old one, which appears to be burnt into archive material. Occasionally one appears superimposed on the other...

ATP 2019 onwards, conversation I had today seems to think AZP will be able, and willing at least in the first year, to sublicence content. We might see some content on other broadcasters as a result.

which may follow on from a conversation I had with someone who couldn't see how they were planning to monetise it.
