The BBC are doing regional election debates. Seen trailers on Spotlight and BBC London.

Are the English regions doing anything, either on ITV or the BBC. I guess if they are for ITV it would probably be within the 6pm shows, which is a shame really as it's a relatively easy way of getting an hour of local content in either a primetime or off-peak slot.

GMB have just been behind the scenes of the studio of tonight's ITV Election Debate.
It's the same set and podiums as 2015. Indeed you can tell that it is exactly the same as they're still displaying the old UTV logo in the background and on the podiums. I wonder if they will notice before 8pm?

There were supposed to be the monthly regional political programmes as last month they said they would be back in May. That was after the election announcement but they have not been on and nothing scheduled for next week.
It would be good to have an hour long pre Election regional programme that assesses each party in each region and how the election could pan out.
There again they may say people have an idea what will happen and may wish to put their resources elsewhere.

Pretty sure everything has been reused from the 2015 debate, hence the UTV logo.
The Guardian are reporting that May and Corbyn are still welcome, even if they turn up at the last minute.
