ITV Yorkshire is still the name they use on signage, at least. Such as this example (although I personally think this sign is a bit too small compared to the space they had to use)

That ident is played out by the news gallery, IIRC, and the news guys like to use the phrase "Calendar region" because it avoid alienating the good people of Lincolnshire (who get a better deal from the Beeb these days)

Typical p*ss-poor newspaper writing there. The article confusingly talks about two different programmes both called "UTV Live", due to stupidly missing out the crucial additional word "Tonight" from the title of one of them... Rolling Eyes

Signage was updated on the main building and adjacent the archive building (former YTV news centre) with Yorkshire ditched and Emmerdale branding added.

Doesnt France and some channel around scandinavia still have IVC? surly it can be more classy

Deffo not France. EÉN Belgium dropped IVC last year, as part of a rebrand:

SVT1 dropped their IVC 4 years ago to OOV (BBC style):

Not sure about TV4:

NRK are still in-vision I believe:

It did last time I checked, but rugby union coverage aside, I don't watch a whole pile of it.

Why are there going to be pre recorded? Surely peaktime will be live?

As I mused the other day, sounds like the ITV1 Wales scenario, all continuity pre-recorded and sent down a line for playout.

Which ended up being phased out and replaced with network continuity, and this will probably happen to UTV at some point.

BBC Alba still do a bit of the old IVC and it looks quite fresh and modern. They could be saying anything mind you, I can't understand a word...

Technically BBC 3 used in vision continuity with the 60 seconds presenter introducing the next programme.
