Wimbledon isn't on BBC1 Wales tomorrow due to Wales football team homecoming coverage. This means BBC2 Wales will be showing BBC2 network until 1:45" then BBC1 network until 6:00 and then BBC2 network (and then BBC1 network no doubt from 7:00)

Will Wales get a clean feed of have to listen to Sue Barker telling viewers to change channel that doesn't apply in Wales.

Doubt it. Northern Ireland didn't get one last week.

No doubt there'll be lots of "this doubles match is over on BBC2 now" too.

They've just done a piece celebrating the Wimbeldon theme music which is 40 years old this year.

The question is what theme music did they use 41 years ago?

Wasn't it Arnold Steck's composition "A Sporting Occasion"?

No clean feed for viewers in Wales, they got a voiceover pointing viewers to iPlayer, online and the red button, played a trailer and then joined the BBC1 programme on BBC2 Wales, so viewers missed the live action while Sue faffed about with her introduction.

Someone in the commentary booth has a nasty cough this afternoon.

Sounds a bit messy, surely they could have cleanly mixed from BBC2 to BBC1 network during the period when they were showing the same match?

Yes, that's the least they could have done.

Murray's semi-final starting shortly, so disruption to schedules tonight again.

We were chatting about Wednesday's channel hopping at work yesterday. Even the tennis fans thought the BBC messed up at 6pm! Let's hope they don't do a similar faux-pas this evening.

I think it might be someone in the crowd, possibly near the chair. You can only hear her between games, when (I think) they bring up mics near the chair to pick up any conversation.

(I previously said "I think it might be one of the ball girls. You only hear it loudly between games, when (I think) they have the mics on the chair up to catch anything the players say." but it's ball boys at the net today, and if any of the ground staff were hacking like that during games you'd expect them to replace her)

You might be right there as it wasn't for the whole match.

If I was able to tinker with BBC One schedules, I'd be looking for a 15 minute Six (on time), and 15 minute regional news at 18:15. Thumbs up

. . . EDIT: or go for delaying the 'news hour' until after 7pm

So basically 3 days, all dealt with completely differently. They obviously don't have a plan and make it up on the fly.
