I imagine it'll be a quick look on BBC news an hour before, write a slight script and talk about sports results. I don't see how it'll fill 3 hours though. There's not going to be anyone wanting to advertise, there won't be any correspondents, in depth reports unless the day before was spent making them or any guests I would imagine. I think watching 10 mins will give you the full program. As for the set, I plead you not to sit in that incredibly unflattering position you have in the Vlog.

While there is nothing whatsoever wrong with fantasy, I suspect this is quickly going to descend into the realms of delusion.

I notice from the history on the Twitter feed of either Rhys or Slash or whichever one of the six million Twitter accounts that this has spawned, the ultimate aim seems to want to be all things to all people and do it all on a budget of 26p.

There was a tweet that shut the entire operation down for exams, and I also spotted this piece of creative writing on what I think is your old website (which I found through your old tweets) which I think sums up the delusion appropriately:

http://slash.my-free.website/ posted:
We are the world's first TV channel to be hosted primarily online. We have potential viewer numbers in the millions. Our :30 second advertising rates start from just £100 and we have a revolutionary ad service called Beyond the :30, which lets companies take over an entire 3 minute ad break plus 30 second slots before and after a show for a total of 4 minutes brand exposure.

Please just mark everything as either mock, "my dream", "my fantasy" or something similar, as this is all it's realistically going to be at this stage and for a long long while. If you really want to get up at 5am, then at 13 you're old enough now to use your time more productively - I suggest getting a paper round instead.

I think in your own interest, now isn't the time to put in so much effort in somethings unlikely to gain any traction.

It's clear this is effecting your real priorities.

Not doing homework might sound like a good idea to you now but it won't be when you fail your GCSEs which can I mention are now the hardest they've been in years. I think you need to get your priorities right.

There's nothing wrong with dreaming, but someone needs to help him out here with support.

It's easy to criticise someone else for not having the same standards as everyone else, but this doesn't the age or the place to be so negative.

This does seem just as fantasy as PATV.

I still wonder how all of the software you listed has created this.

Age doesn't matter, I'm 15 and I've criticism, just not as much.

Here are the things I've acted on based on reading through the last 2 pages:
-All extra channels except Slash News have been cancelled
-The inconsistencies between the website, this thread and Twitter have been sorted out.
-I've changed the breakfast show start time to 6.15 and the end time to 7.15 (weekdays)
-The old websites and social media are being deleted/edited

Some other points I felt I had to make:

"Sorry about the website. We've got a team of engineers working to restore it by the end of the day. Thanks for your patience." - how many people are working on this project?"
-A large number of my classmates and friends are giving any time they can offer around school, homework and extracurricular activities to help me out with this.

"the ultimate aim seems to want to be all things to all people and do it all on a budget of 26p."
-Quite a few students (and teachers :0) have donated to this project through Patreon.

"I would also say that with your idents they do need to mean something. At the moment they say "procrastinating and filming a coat hanger instead of doing the homework which is lying on the floor."

-They do. The hanger has been placed like a / to represent the 'Slash' name and our brand.

I'll be back with an update soon.

You might want to chase them up on that...

Wrong account. Doesn't matter though - the Slash TV account has been removed anyway.

Does that mean you won't be doing any more videos?

Yes, I am still making content for my personal YouTube channel, as well as the Slash TV project.

What I mean about the idents is they have to have some sort of thing behind it.

This logo shape idea works for BBC because they're varying what is making a large circle: kites, hippos, ferris wheel. Most also have a time they're used, you're very likely to see the ferris wheel leading into Saturday night as that's what the night sky, neon lights, etc suggests and not before Homes Under the Hammer.

Seasonal idents are used aswell, you're more likely to see the penguins a few times a day in December than you are tomorrow when they'll use the sunny mowing the lawn ident.

I hope you understand where I'm coming from here but I still see the not doing the homework thing I mentioned. If you want to have your idents based around /s which can be found out and about then have the slash logo come in on top of this slash shape and have the words come in beside it. If you do that to the coat hanger it will improve.

You also need to think about the effect of high production values on the audience. A messy floor with homework doesn't give a very professional image but put this coat hanger somewhere where it means something (take a shop) incorporate some people walking around the shop and film it with nice camera angles and movement and you've got yourself a rather nice ident.
