My version (I tried to do this as a post but the limit -_-)
So, the person called SlashTVUK made SlashTV and I didn't like the design, I made a alternative to that horrible MS Paint look and here it is.

Much better. Though I wouldn't use Calibri.

Here's my idea - thicker Slash so it doesn't just become a load of pixels when it's on screen at smaller sizes, thicker font for the same.
I'd do my idea for the news and all that, but then we start going into hijacking the thread, so I won't do that.

I already have new ideas, just downloaded the CC versions of Photoshop, After Effects and Premiere Pro, so will come out with a new version soon.

Much better. Though I wouldn't use Calibri.

I used Calibri as I was testing if it looks good in some ways.

here's a hint - half sun (similar to this)

By the way I made all of my versions of SlashTV using Powerpoint, if you can't do that using Powerpoint you can't do it using Photoshop, that is unless you have more experience on Photoshop.

I'd be stunned to find somebody who could master Photoshop and not be able to use Powerpoint.
