That wouldn't solve the problem of a significant proportion of texts never being received and the voter never knowing about it. What's the problem you have with dialling a number from your mobile telephony device instead? You can tell if your vote counted, you can still use your modern technology, and it can be integrated into the app (as with last year) if it's really necessary.

I'm guessing they just didn't trigger a graphic covering up the number. The song number which forms part of the telephone number is burnt on, with the local broadcaster overlaying the start of the phone number. They just left it on.

I didn't think the theme music was that distinctive this year compared to the last couple of years (which were quite similar). Not a huge fan of the stage either but SVT delivered with the interval VTs and acts and of course hte hosts - one in particular.

I would hope that the number would not connect and therefore not charge, and that TVM are quite happy with that.
