I'm currently enjoying the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 First Semi-Final on BBC Four. There are a lot of countries I'd like to see in Saturday's Grand Final, but a few I definitely don't want to see. Here's what I do and don't want to qualify:
Here are my preferences based solely on all of tonight's performances:
Definitely want to qualify: Greece, Moldova, The Netherlands, Russia, Cyprus, Austria,
Iceland, Bosnia & Herzegovina
Wouldn't mind qualifying: Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Azerbaijan, Malta
Prefer not to qualify: Finland, San Marino
Definitely don't want to qualify: Hungary, Armenia, Montenegro
So these are the ones I want to see Saturday night: Greece, Moldova, The Netherlands, Russia, Cyprus, Austria,
Iceland, Bosnia & Herzegovina, plus two (and no more) of Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Azerbaijan, Malta.
Sadly the UK doesn't vote tonight, but had the UK been voting in this semi-final, I would have voted for The Netherlands, Cyprus, Austria, Iceland, Bosnia & Herzegovina.

An issue which seemingly only is an issue in the UK, an issue solved by adding just two words "and received" to already lengthy disclaimers.
Sadly this is very much a BBC3 production on BBC4 with them skipping Nerd Nation and Grey People, both of which could have been made for UK audiences.
And, as has been stated many, many times before, the lack of app voting and SMS voting is because it couldn't be proven reliably that all votes would get through (especially with SMS).
