I think if the audience don’t know the answer on the whole they will go with the answer they are most familiar with. Some really poor strategy from that last contestant, used the wrong lifelines at the wrong time.
A Barnsky question is basically popular culture, so why she didn’t ask the audience I’ve no idea.

Even Clarkson didn't seem to like her.
Someone should tell this contestant Eggheads has been axed, so no point turning this into an audition.

Really not a fan of these “which has had more” type questions, just like I wasn’t with the “which of these things happened in the same year as this” ones. Some of the questions have felt unfair this series.

Yes, there's a difference between a 'straight' question like 'Which king was married to Eleanor of Aquitaine?' (true fans will recognise that question
) and questions like 'which of these events happened in the same year as [other event]?' - there's a lot more you have to know to be in with a chance of getting the latter correct.

What about Peter Tork, Mickey Dolenz or Mike Nesmith's lockers?
The nightmare of appearing on this is not knowing one of the early questions, especially the first. I've never ever heard of Davy Jones Locker.

I only heard of it a couple of years ago when someone on Bake Off did a cake in the style of Davy Jones' Locker.
