All mention of HTV seems to have been removed from their website, and the 'company' is now being refered to as "ITV WALES", with "ITV1WALES" being the channel.

go to www.htv.co.uk , the corporate site. There they still HTV logos proudly displayed all over the place, and now described ITV1 Wales/West as being part of the 'HTV group of companies'.

I ought to go up to langage again to see if the building has got a new lick of paint yet.

Interesting anomoly, www.westcountry.co.uk once again links to Westcountry's website on itv.com (and they've never stopped using it for email addresses either), whislt www.centraltv.co.uk still redirects to www.carlton.com

Well on the main ITV1Wales site, located naturally at www.htvwales.com -- I can only find reference to this "ITV Wales" in the title bar for the news headlines page.

Every other page is still generously littered with "HTV Wales" [not been used, except by some older staff, for 11 years]

http://www.htvwales.com/whoswho
http://www.htvwales.com/postcard
http://www.htvwales.com/about

If you move forward through these three pages, the title bar changes each time in a very disorganised identity crisis. And in that last page, it doesn't know *what* to call itself -- nice page, but all over the place. Still © HTV Wales Broadcasting too.

I think the management will still be keen to call themselves HTV, but regardless the brand won't be hoovered off of the website completely methinks for a long time, if ever.

I know that every programme (apart from local) currently being made by Meridian is being farmed up to LWT. Considering some of the stuff was originally made by LWT, it was a bit stupid moving it in the first place. It will be interesting to see how this ITV plc develops. But with the state of the channel already, if they want to compete they need to drop the rubbish and return to quality programming.

http://www.itv.com/press has changed to http://www.itvpresscentre.com with a new revamped look, and ''.... ITV Press Centre opening 2 February ...'' is scrolling along the top.

This probably being because at the moment press releases and other behind the scenes corporate stuff appear on itv.com, carlton.com, granadaenterprises etc depending on what it refers to. Presumably all these will be merged into one website

Its good that Central and Westcountry have got their regional names back, but its a shame about HTV News losing their name, I suppose we will get used to ITV Wales News (eventually!)

Jez where is STEVE TAYLOR in your signature? Surely he is one of the longest running presenters they got?

He's not a good looking young man or a woman, so he doesn't get a look in. Young Jez is *so* superficial..

Do they still have these big satellite dishes with the big "W"'s on them, or were they repainted for Carlton?

Also, I suppose one of the only places we'll see the Carlton name soon will be at the cinema - most of them seem to have "Carlton Advertising"... or something like that.
