Why are they using the previous style break bumpers during this? (Watching in the UTV Region).

I have a feeling it's to do with the Britain Get Talking campaign.

Mind was having a chat with them this evening.

Maybe they've decided to leave the bumpers out until a decision has been reached. Or maybe Mind has pulled out.

Alternatively someone has pressed the wrong button.

But they do have the current style of bumpers without Britain Get Talking on them?
Why switch to the previous style when the current style without Britain get talking on them can be used?

Could've pressed the wrong button.

Maybe these were listed as 'ITV Clean Bumpers' so they pressed without a second thought.

If the campaign has been put on hold then there wouldn't have been time to check.

There isn't a "wrong button". Whatever went out would've been what was scheduled or what they were told to put in the schedule.

Why are you having the same discussion in two threads simultaneously?

Do the US networks often force the hands of their counterparts to so heavily credit them in the run-up to a big exclusive, or has this interview been the exception? On TV, it's been very strange to see straps on-screen throughout clips shown on the BBC etc today crediting the production companies and also specifically that the interview would be on ITV at 9pm and on ITV Hub. On Radio 1 this morning the newsreaders were even reading the full credit out! The BBC News app sending a push notification basically saying 'whack ITV on, it's starting' was also a bit of a surprise.

If there's one thing that comes out of this interview though, perhaps it will be that people finally stop referring to ITV Hub as ITV Player...! If Channel 4 had gone for it maybe they could have finally stopped people referring to their streaming service as 4oD, which I still hear people say much more frequently than All4...

Good Point. I suppose because it was already being mentioned in both.

I notice that the rights holders are being very finicky about the credits being used on clips, everywhere (print/online/broadcast) seems to be saying "ITV at 9pm tonight and on ITV Hub, courtesy of Harpo Productions/CBS" to the letter.

On Newsnight, it's now "Interview on ITV Hub, Courtesy of Harpo Productions/CBS"

Basically now that corporate relationships are being put into jeopardy as a result of Morgan’s rants, I can’t see him lasting much longer.

It reminds me a little of Top Gear/Clarkson situation where he just kept pushing his luck. Although to be clear, I’m not suggesting Morgan is going to end up punching a producer.

The same on bbc news now as well. I imagine it’s quite confusing if watching on world news when it’s being advertised as being on itv and itv hub all day.

Strange that newsnights credit is very small and not as noticeable as the news channels one, a big white box on the screen sticks out like a sore thumb.

Thankfully due to the pandemic, people in TV studios have to wear Face Shields so Erron is safe!

One way ITV could punish him without actually firing him is limiting his social media presence with perhaps some sort of guidelines.
