New look CBBC

I rather like it. It's a bit like the original and the current More4 logo had a baby.

I have heard of a few things the logo says like CRK and BBCCCBB:. And surly BBC FOUR would be come BBC#?

My worst fear seems to becoming true with BBC channels logos going into a square with the BBC logo shoved in the top left corner.

I won't go into great detail of how much I don't like the new look but the main issues which is the same as BBC 3 is that nothing lines up! Clearly no one on the BBC design team has OCD. It annoys me! It makes the end product look cheap as they did not finish it off properly. The DOG is just awful. A few people have already said a few things on the CBBC website. I guess most of them are kids. The only thing I like is the animation idents and music. The only thing that spoils that for me is the guy who sounds like he is about to laugh say CBBC at the end. The action ident are yawn! No consistency and clear done to involve kids in there brand. I am glad CBBC recognised it needed to do something with it's brand but this is bad! The main logo concept is a good idea but needed bit more work. It been about a year since CBBC updated things. Let's hope there is another update really soon!

TV as we know it is losing audience year on year to the online world and the purpose of that logo is designed more for the online world than the TV so based on that - I think the logo is just ok.

Personally, I've always had a soft spot for the CBBC blobs and I always thought they would have worked better online and much more fun.

Tbh, I never liked the green logo, I thought it looked very old fashioned. This one looks fresh and modern even though it does say BBC C.

If you look closely, you can make out CBBC in the C itself from looking at the colours and the way they're separated.

It's hard to beat the old fashioned C [B][B][C] of the 90's

It was a bit bland and corporate for a children's strand, I thought.

BBC Four will change name to BBC ALT or something like that, Then they can get away with no BBC Three.

I disagree that this logo works online. It has the same amount of problems there. CBBC is a busy place what it needed was a simple logo not a busy one. My main issues is the box with BBC logo. Just looks bad. The only main reason they done this was for the same reason they shoved a green rectangle underneath the last one and that is to shoehorn the BBC logo in. What they should have done is found a way of connecting the BBC logo in. The CBBC bugs era did this well and I agree the bugs would have worked really well online! I would rather have a updated bug package than this. People say CBeebies has not had a new look ever. Those people really need ask the question why! And if you don't know then there is no hope.

The real oddity with this logo is that it doesn't scale down. It doesn't work small - as the channel DOG, on iPlayer, or when scaled down to app tile size. Wasn't that the whole point?

These idents seem familiar to the past. Also has much changed about newsround?

No changes, just a massive box saying "LIVE" next to the DOG, see the picture London Lite posted on Page 8.
