We're getting I Can See Your Voice on BBC One soon which is also from MBC. Interesting that the hottest format in years is not from the likes of UK, Europe or USA.


For the record, although I Can See Your Voice is also a South Korean format, it was developed by another South Korean broadcaster, what is now CJ ENM's TV division, and was aired on one of their channels.


It's broadcast on Mnet and simulcasted on another South Korean channel.

I think Mo was a much better replacement. Some of Jonathan's guesses were silly this series, but no worse than some of Ken's. It's probably fortunate for Rita that the series was filmed quite a while ago considering her recent Covid-19 rule breaking controversy, and by the time of the next series it'll likely be forgotten by most.

Considering it flopped on Boxing Day it is unlikely to launch on Christmas Day, as much a Christmas themed version would be fantastic.

We were saying this at the beginning of the series, Ken was not missed this year.

I liked Ken, but Mo was a great replacement, the "silly guesses" were far better this year and it got you off your seat laughing, Ken's guesses make you chuckle to yourself and that was it.

Might be wise to wait until January 8 then. If they start on New Years Day, there's a decent chance it'll be scheduled against Doctor Who, which likely won't do either show any good.

So now the series is over and we know who everyone is, how accurate was that Wikipedia ‘leak’? I didn’t look at it at the time, who did it say?

I believe the only one it got wrong was Bush baby which it predicted was David Walliams and it was in fact John Thompson.

You can of course go back on the page's edit history (it was around 16th January if I remember correctly).

edit: as stated below, they were not all in the correct order.

It got quite a few of the guesses right (bearing in mind a lot of them were somewhat known) but the list was in the wrong order.

Rita won the series overall guessing 4 correctly (Mel B, Gabrielle, Aston & Ne-Yo) Mo, Jonathan & Davina got 2 each.

2 out of 12 is not great given the clues for some of them were really obvious by the end, but I expect it makes it more interesting / fun if they are guessing differently.

But Nicola Roberts performing best overall guessing 2 out of 3 in her single episode. Laughing

Nicola Roberts returns to the show as a panellist and guesses two out of the three finalists correctly.

Who would have thought that?
