I agree, it’s been a wonderful series with a vast array of talent from the past few decades, all with amazing voices putting on such entertaining performances when we’ve needed them the most.

It’s been lovely to have this series that I’ve been able to talk about with younger family members, older family members, friends and even staff in shops. I think the winner summed it up well when they said “life can be too serious”, and we’ve all felt that to varying degrees over the past 10 months or so. It’s been nice to have a good piece of entertainment on the TV that has had people guessing and most importantly talking.

Exactly, life is at times, too serious.

I understand we need to do our bit for everybody around us, but sometimes, we all need to lighten up a bit, even if it's just once, just because we're all staying in our homes, it doesn't mean that you cannot let your hair down and have fun.

I've spoken about this series and "who this person might be" to my family and friends who have watched the show, did a watch along with a few of them too.

Can’t agree more, hope you’re doing well. Saturday night takeaway starts next week, that usually puts a smile on my face and I was wondering if you also enjoy that?

I love Ant and Dec, Saturday Night Takeaway usually puts a smile on my face too, which is great.

The only difference is that I won't be excited for a future episode as much as I was with TMS and that's not in a bad sense.

SNT is more of a celebration that the week is over, but like TMS, it's an antidote to the world's uncertainty.

Just out of interest, who brings up the show when you’re in a shop and how does the conversation go?

I tried talking about the show in a shop once, but the self service till in Tesco wasn’t interested.

😆 Two of the workers were talking about it as I approached the desk, and I joined in with the conversation.

The thing is it's a show where you want to tell other people who you think they are, but don't necessarily want people to tell you who they think they are.

I certainly wouldn't have matched Joss Stone to the clues without the help of others filling in the blanks, and the same goes for a few others too. It's for this reason to the show actually benefits from being pre-recorded so the panel can't just go off feedback from the audience.

Fair play to Joss Stone for wearing a costume like that for several long days...whilst pregnant!

Respect to all of the singers who participated, they were all a great sport.

I just looked back at my guesses from Episode 1 and put in Chris Eubank for Robin. Laughing

It's such a ridiculous show and even I've been tuning in over the last few weeks. I was completely gripped by it.

Damn those pesky South Koreans at MBC for coming up with a very watchable show.

We're getting I Can See Your Voice on BBC One soon which is also from MBC. Interesting that the hottest format in years is not from the likes of UK, Europe or USA.

I agree with Brekkie, I'm really not sure on I Can See Your Voice (also hate the title tbh - how do you see a voice?) but just watched some of the US version on YouTube.

Prediction: first episode will air and Twitter will go into what clickbait articles will instantly describe as outrage over this poor-man's Masked Singer. It being on a different channel to TMS will make people think its a rubbish rip off instead of a side format if it was on ITV - the US versions are both on Fox and Ken hosts ICSYV. I don't think the guessing game is as interesting either, guessing who someone is gives hundreds or thousands of potential answers, in this you're guessing if someone's good or bad.

Not that we needed this confirming!

"Rest of the panel" makes me assume Mo will be back next year and Ken won't return.

Considering Ken is now doing Masked Dancer and I Can See Your Voice in the US as well as Masked Singer twice a year I doubt he'd have time. Mo was very good, but Ken had a role last year to be somewhat outlandish in his guesses and that role hasn't worked as well with Jonathan Ross playing for laughs.

For the record, although I Can See Your Voice is also a South Korean format, it was developed by another South Korean broadcaster, what is now CJ ENM's TV division, and was aired on one of their channels.

Really strong ratings for the Masked Singer. Believe that's better than the last two years' BGT finals so ITV have got to be happy with that. No suprised it's been renewed and Mo was a much better panellist than Ken (although I think Ken maybe brought something for series 1 in that he was experienced in the role).

I wouldn’t be surprised if they drop Rita from the panel, it looks like a lot of people have had it with her. Nicola would be a good replacement.
