If they're wrong, they'll presumably be going deeper underground.

I thought it could've been Jay Kay before, but not enough of the clues fit. Only been convinced it's Ne-Yo last week.

I just can’t see an American performer putting on a Brummie accent though.

The accent is weird but I can't get round the Barbra Streisand thing. And Ne-Yo is too random for him to be a deliberate red herring, especially as none of the judges have gone for him yet(?)

We seem to have moved on to Ben Shepard (of GMB) For Badger since he didn't exactly deny it when question by Charlotte Hawkins this morning however (again) i don't think it is him since the clues are miles out for it to be him!

Wild guess, I but honestly think Robin is Olly Murs, Robin does sound like him.

He wanted to be in EastEnders, played football semi-professionally before giving it up due to an injury.

Olly has never duetted with Barbra Streisand, however. It can't be a different Barbra, surely?

Olly Murs? Hmm, do any of the clues relate to Deal or No Deal? He was famously on it twice, first as a civilian before he became famous, and then again as a celebrity.

The only issue with Olly Murs being Robin is that Olly doesn't have that sort of singing voice especially the high notes whereas Aston Merrygold can hit those high notes.
