ROFL @ Chris Rogers' futile attempts to interview two unwilling football guys about the premiership

Yes, Gordon Strachan is dreadful to interview at the best of times. There clearly was a communication problem as Chris was asking them vague football questions when they had been expecting to have been questioned on "specialist sports".

It's a shame Joyce rarely gets a co-host - i really like her on the news channel. Owen also seems to be popular with the management as he has had quite a few important shifts recently, he's always good whether alone or with co-host.

I really think the news channel could do with a busiess presenter and more comprehensive busiess news - it used to be very good for it when it was the itnnc - crossing to stock exchanges in new york and london. I think that would make the channel slightly more heavy weight. And btw has anyone seen that terrible Edinburgh Festival sting - tacky!

Owen Thomas and Joyce Ohajah are good newscasters but I presume Joyce and Owen are given the important schedules because the senior News Channel anchors are on holiday, apart from Andrew Harvey.

Elsewhere, ITN are celebrating VE Day in May, anchored by John Suchet. This is a fact.

Does anyone actually know when the next few are scheduled?

A bit unusual is that earlier this morning they were advertising that at 11pm tonight on the ITV News Channel there would be a special programme discussing the Tonight Special.

It seems they abandoned the idea as its Mark Webster presenting as normal.

What is there to discuss?

Fiona's makeup? The clothes she wore? How pathetic some of the questions were?

Maybe they realised there was chuff all to discuss.
