Her spin is hilarious, It reminds me of Simon Cowell spinning the X factor USA axe as Simon wanting to spend more time in the UK with his Child(who is US based!). Nothing to with the awful declining ratings. Rolling Eyes
Her term as host was a failure pure and simple.

5 over excited tv fourmers don't equal the real world and the Trevor McDonald comparison is nonsense too as he said in pre launch Interviews that he was only going to be there for a short while.

Sick of the attitude of certain forum members on this thread and other threads. The tone of some is rude and disrespectful, and doesn't encourage sensible, pleasant debate.

I've been posting on this forum for 12 years and it's getting worse and worse. This forum used to have a dignity that other forums lacked, and I'm fed up of watching it descend into this.

They're even more early-90s than the weekday titles! Nice syncing with the alarm clock though, I'll give them that.

Not necessarily. It is perfectly feasible that Lorraine was brought in for a year or two to boost ratings.

I agree, as I said at the time, this is the same woman that at one point only did a 3 day week. I always thought she was short term and only doing it to stable the ship (although that didn't happen).

That original GMTV theme tune is still brilliant, and does bring back good memories.

I still think that TVam is the best early morning theme tune followed by BBC Breakfast Time - or is it all subjective as to when we were growing up and being influenced by the theme tunes?
