FYI Thursdays show had a voice over for Susanna, Ben & Kate each hour.

It worked quite well, and they should do it for every show. It’s always been odd calling out 2 names when the third presenter is also in shot.
BBI45 and watchingtv gave kudos

For me, that use of "ITV Studios" is more objectionable than in the TOTH voice over where it can be argued to refer to the production company. Here it is clearly referring to a location, it really should say GMB Studio or similar.

Neither is objectionable at all.

ITV Studios sublet TC2, TC3 and their respective facilities. They are ITV Studios, whichever way you look at it.

I really don't get what is so difficult to understand about that.

It’s better than love from the studio at television centre that itv currently rents from another company for the use of the programme your watching of course which is more truthful but stupid

I realise this is an unusual thing to say on a TV pres forum, but I actually find this opening sequence almost over-styled, busy, far too text heavy and just "over flashy". I don't watch GMB but was surprised it's like this. It's like someone went mad with PowerPoint transition effects, and set the timings so fast you can't read half of it.

At the "also on the programme" bit, (which would be better just read out rather than written on-screen), the wipes look terrible, fast left to right, but combined with the inserted picture becoming full screen, whilst the camera is also moving and zooming, then a few extra pointless flashes wipe across the lower thirds - it's got a horrible dizzying effect about it, and I am usually quite tolerant watching that sort of thing.

Even the ticker coming on has a transition with the date being shown for a nano-second. Pointless and just ends up looking too "busy" when combined with all the other stuff on-screen, a simple fade on would've done.

Previous discussions here tend to suggest it does to some people

He's mentioned that he's a remainer on live TV - however then chastisising supporters of a 2nd referendum. That creates a balance
