No point getting too worked up about it when it'll change again in a few months.

Surprised with all these changes the date has remained in the intro throughout - that is one thing I thought would get dropped quite quickly when they launched.

It sounds like somebody trying to do an impression of James Earl Jones but failing, badly.

Alexander Bean is the name of the new voiceover.

Looks like he’s done video games before.

He’s clearly got a strong voice, and whether it’s right for GMB is a matter of opinion. But clearly needs some training.

Hopefully he’ll be directed to get his tone and emphasis right for GMB.

I don't understand the reason for the VO change. Dominic tweeted only last week that he was at ITV recording a VO so it's not as if he's stopped working for them either. Hopefully they revert this change, I'd forgotten about the female VO too actually until now.

He's also clearly a very good voiceover for some things (as you have said), but I don't think he's right for GMB.

Yes, presumably the constant back and forth between the gmb hashing and itv logo is to subconciously remind people that gmb is itv.

The gap between the time and the ticker text is really bugging me. Also the split screen backdrop doesn't seem to match well at all

Now that's just uncalled for. If you don't like it, that's fine. You're within your rights to dislike something. However, I don't get why people feel the need to s*** on his parade, especially not on his social media pages. He's clearly happy with what he's done, and he should be able to enjoy that satisfaction. I get that it's only a few people, but that doesn't make it OK.
