I'm surprised they haven't found a presenter who could fill that role on the non Piers days. I like Ben but his style of presenting doesn't fit with that GMB is going for.

Yeah, he did fill in for a few days, would be good to see him back again when/if he feels able to do so.

Either that (unlikely) or they are trying to increase BAME representation on-screen.

Definitely this. Very noticeable on a lot of programmes over the last few months, including This Morning and Loose Women.

I think it’s a bit strange that don’t get Ranvir or Charlotte to do it considering their experience, instead opting for the weatherman. Sean seems to be sidelined again too, I’m hoping he wasn’t available.
I wonder if Susanna isn’t doing Thursday this week, Alex’s tweet suggests so, but Kate is usually newsreader on Thursday.

I don’t think anyone is “sidelined” Rolling Eyes Sean is presumably freelance and therefore probably more expensive or more of a faff to arrange than someone who is already on the payroll.
