Well still not sure about the logos but the E4 onscreen presentation is good. The rest are new logos over old idents. The E4 end-boards are very ITV 2 though.

Who would have thought you could combine chips, the Channel 4 Space Squad ident and purple ketchup?! Genius!

I'm feeling much more relieved seeing the logos in 3D.

I'm thinking 27th September is now going to have to be a TV Forum national Bank Holiday. And to think just over 24 hours ago we had no idea on the major rebrands that are about to face us.

Well that is funny. 2 rebrands in one day. They are like buses!!

But Channel 4 have won already with that chip ident.

Channel 4 could use a clean version of the chip ident without the sauce in the shape of an E.

So we've had rebrands for TV3, BBC2 and All of Channel 4's digital channels. BBC1 next please.

Most of the idents seems to be the same with the logo adapted apart from E4 having major work done where the E itself becomes a character like BBC 2's now defunct 2.

My opinion really hasn't changed on the logos having seen them in motion. I'm glad that E4 appears to have kept its "E4ness" but I still think the logo is terrible, as is the oversight of not incorporating the M in More and Film into the 4 in the same way 4Music has.

It also looks like More4 and Film4 are keeping their idents, which makes the whole brief of it being dynamic or whatever buzzword they're using sort of pointless if all they've done is change the logo.

More4 definitely should've changed it's idents, those triangle flip devices appear all over the place.

True. Isn't it essentially E4 2 now? But that would be an awkward name! Laughing

Agreed. The Channel 4 logo is a fantastic piece of work and a lot of thought was put into it but with these new ones it's very lazy how they've written over it.

I don't understand why they just didn't simply have the 4 logo with the text in a nice font beside it in the way Channel 5 have done. Keeping it simple seems to be a tricky concept.

I like the new E4 logo as well as 4Seven but the rest seem a bit awkward especially More4. I do agree that I think Channel 4 should have used what Channel 5's does with their families of channels.

I wonder if we'll see an updated Film4 logo with Widows?

I'll be honest: my first impression is that they were horrible

But they have grown on me: actually, I quite like, all of them; yeah the "M" and "F" parts of More 4 and Film 4 could be integrated more, but I can see why they did that with 4Music and not More4

The new E4 identity looks fabulous too

They needed a change, and even if the logos are more unified, you can tell each of them still retains its own identity
I think Channel 4 should have used what Channel 5's does with their families of channels.

Ehm, no

That would be so not-Channel 4[

I’m grateful that Film4 has kept its idents, as it matches the channel very well, although I think it looks a bit tiny on the promotions. 4Music looks at home on its revamped ident. I’ll have to wait until later to watch it. More4 is quite disappointing. The logo is just lodged in.
