So the reflection for this first news bulletin wasn't just me then!

The background behind Adrian & Christine looking better by the minute. Looks great!

Its basic, but IMO it looks better than ITV Weather's current graphics.

I know it's only a small thing, but I don't like how reports just end, instead of the reporters saying 'X for Daybreak' or the like.

That reflection is seriously ugly:

The camera angle was actually changed to the left of Tasmin after the first story - the original shot had a reflection of the back of Tasmin, and the front of Dan at the other side of the studio.

For the record . . . Northern Ireland's opt-out is still Macmillan Media under the title 'Daybreak Northern Ireland News' with the presenter seated on a purple sofa in front of a green screen (presumably), with a 'window' onto the Belfast Laganside area, and a wall and plasma in the same style as the London pictures above - but I'm pretty sure the wall/plasma was all CSO as well.

The format of the bulletin was along the same lines of the BBC's daytime bulletins, with the newsreader narrating over pictures with an information strap, followed by travel news and weather using the generic ITV graphics.

Unfortunate use of words during the sport just now - noting that one of the England cricket team's batsman was born in Ireland, then saying "the troubles" continue for Pakistan.

So far, love the set and onscreen package. I fear the music could become repetitive.
Really really disappointed that the regional news was so short. What's the point of crewing all those studios for only three 2 minute bulletins?

Seems like ITV have gone for young sexy things for the show such as Dan Lobb, Lucy Verasamy (so that's where she went), Tasmin Lucia Khan. It might just work for them.

The Guardian is blogging the show live.

Forgot about the multi screen TV's - wonder what's that for ?

Also nice use of the News At Ten Music - for Daybreaker's - not sure what to think of that feature though. Bit One show? Along with the Price Charles Garden party feature too.

I'm liking Daybreak, not too keen on the Weather graphics, it looked poor on 'Daybreak Granada News', but even the Regional News looks better for having integrated graphics.

Didn't like the '5 things', it felt too much like RI:SE's 6 Pack....! But other than that I'm liking it so far, the view behind Adrian and Christine is nice and pleasant, looked lovely around 6:30am when it was a sunrise.
