I doubt the microphones can pick up stuff like that, despite what the tabloids may say, the ground isn't that close.
The street as it is is right next to a busy road, yet you never hear any traffic, heavy lorries going past, buses pulling away from the lights etc.
I guess the jukebox music is played in in the edit like it always is, as it wouldn't be picked up correctly otherwise.

It's a bit hard to match up the time on ITV Player with actual running time, but were there any outdoor scenes at around 8.23pm? I'd imagine you'd have been able to hear a bit of crowd noise from Man Utd's goal at Old Trafford if so.

Well first of all, neither Kylie nor David are medically trained, and we don't know what's going to happen tonight
Didn't the wrapping up happen off screen? Could've just stuck a dummy in there. Spose it shows some commitment from the actor...
you could see the guy wrapped in the sheets breathing, yet he was supposed to be dead!

Maybe because it would have clashed with the second Emmerdale. Not that they couldn't have put it on at 9 rather than holding it until 10.

Loking at the LIVE feed at the end, there was alot of people moving about, perhaps this was taken into account and decided to wait to catch the actors reactions on VT so it could be edited.

They can't have been live. The same ones were used tonight, and it's daytime.
Apparently the Meerkat sponsors were live too, does anyone have any videos of them?

I think it's a bit of a pisstake for anyone to suggest for once second that they were live!

I finally emailed Viewer Services about the subtitling a week or two back. They asked for more info - specific dates, etc - and have corrected their data for itvPlayer and the like, which is good. But of course they wanted to emphasise that their subtitles are 99.9% accurate, and people sometimes mumble their lines (shouldn't they have a copy of the script?)
And that doesn't explain how Beth got identified as "CILLA:" in tonight's subtitles

The wrapped up body was a dummy, so I doubt very much it breathed...
That was an extra, not a dummy.
