It's as if it was a political move rather than done in the interests of the day to day operations of the channel. Perhaps they're quite happy for Steph to flop.

Just seen a Film4 trailer for a film at 9pm using the yellow and black colour scheme and looking very nice indeed.

The next unaired show to be dug out of the archives is Educating Greater Manchester which was shot in 2018 but never aired due to the headteacher resigning after off-rolling pupils. C4 have previously said they would never air it but I guess needs must right now! I've been told that the scandal and the headteacher quitting does actually feature at the end of the series so it will be interesting to see if they keep those episodes in.

Should point out that this is the 6th series which never aired - the 5th series did air back in 2017.

Looks like there's a #StayAtHome2 DOG now.

It is policy, the law and sadly deemed appropriate in England. Would be incorrect for it to remain on screen in Wales from Monday.

My main issue, very simply, is that it's utterly pointless.

People know what's going on in the news. If they're going to wilfully 'break the rules', they're not going to be persuaded not to by a hashtag on a screen. Those who are diligently following the rules to the letter are hardly likely to forget what's going on and absentmindedly get halfway to the pub and then think "ah, of course, it's closed - I wish there'd been something on TV to remind me".

It serves no purpose to anyone.

Get rid.

Is it currently on screen in Scotland, which would be just as incorrect?

Is it me, or is the 2 in a different font and in bold compared to the rest of it?

Did they not leave it on screen when England came out of lockdown and changed to the ‘Stay Alert’ messaging but Scotland and Wales didn’t?
