Interesting (?) Pres. note about UTV here. When it comes to Ant & Dec doing a round-up of the voting lines for the celebs, UTV live astons their own list of phone numbers over the programme's own graphics - so it comes up a little late or too early and leaves the screen after the prog's graphics have disappeared (which is fair enough as it's a live prog, though it almost always covers Dec for a few seconds!).
The reason is that UTV have kindly provided phone numbers for the Republic of Ireland... just like on X Factor. Now my question is... who gets the profits of the RoI phone vote? Presumably it's UTV?
Add to this the fact that I'm a Celebrity is simulcast on the Republic's TV3 channel - what do they do? Do they take a UTV feed of the programme? Are the lines in direct competition with each other? (Surely not?!). Are RoI phone numbers provided on the TV3 service at all?!!
Questions, questions...!

Does anyone know if the celebs are being paid for taking part? How much if so? And is fee forefited if somebody walks out of their own accord like Mr Harvey? Just wondered.

Last time £25,000 per celeb was being bandied about quite a lot. I don't have any official word on it though.
