Shame there is probably only about 5 people who like club rugby in Britain and it ain't going to drive subscriptions.
Maybe in England, but in Wales club rugby is incredibly important; some of our games are already behind a paywall on Sky so if all European Club games go on BT then some pubs are going to miss out bigly.
Not working with Oculus VR on the S8 when you try and put the VR stream into 360 mode. Get a popped saying it's been blocked by British Telecommunications PLC and to view it in 2d mode or another device.
The iPhone 7 as warned does get a bit warm when the App is running, which surprises really seeing as it's effectively just a switchable video stream.
This has just been released on Broadcast
On the eve of delivering one of the world’s largest live multi-cam VR/360 productions, BT Sport has revealed plans to add live 360 coverage of English Premier League (EPL) and Uefa Champions League (CL) matches from next season.
Speaking to Broadcast, BT TV chief operating officer Jamie Hindhaugh confirmed that VR would form “part of its overall coverage” of EPL and CL matches. He said its 360 production of the Uefa Champions League final from Cardiff on Saturday 3 June will be a “step change” and a template for its future coverage.

I don't understand if it's that important they're just shell on a BT subscription.

It's nearly three figures a month for a medium-sized pub per Sky box. That's a big overhead for 1 extra PL game plus a few odd rugby games now and then.

That's less than I'd thought it be - and it's a PL game every week, not every month, plus the Champions League and FA Cup too - and I suspect the CL meant many pubs who had avoided it previously picked it up. If they're making £25 in a night they wouldn't without it then it pays for itself.

Just to let you see what pres is being used on the channel.
Almost ready to announce it seems, meanwhile the lesser competition, the Champions Cup, is to get FTA secondary rights on ITV for one match per week.
As revealed in @TVSportsMarkets today, BT set to acquire all matches. ITV understood to be close to a deal for one Champions Cup match p/w. https://t.co/nSsXj8Pmxh
