BT Sport - Launch of BT Sport Ultimate

Minor point, thought they overdid the number of extra channels when they launched them. They've removed BTSX7 and its HD counterpart today.

Real prospect of Chelsea and Arsenal going out at that phase.

Netflix has now appeared on the UHD box, after some delays, am awaiting confirmation that this includes the Netflix UHD content, BT's products website is being worked on tonight.

What excellent timing. The first episode of a new series of the Clare Balding show was recorded a couple of weeks ago, and is on tonight on BT Sport (and tomorrow on BBC Two). One of the guests? José Mourinho.

Incidentally, it was also recorded in UHD, but doesn't appear to be getting a simulcast - you may see clips popping up on the barker loop though.

Some gliches switching in and out of the interval Fox Sports coverage between the second and third A League matches this morning, including at least a minute of the in-programme sponsored betting slot being shown.

Premier League coverage will be back in the studio today for this evening's double-header.

Charlie Sale is reporting that Grant Best has left as BT Sport's senior executive producer. But it's not been reported elsewhere, so may well be as a reliable a story as Sale's other scoops.

Noticed BT's CEO Gavin Patterson watching the NBA match tonight at the O2. No pressure then for the crews.

Yep - if he's in the stadium he won't be watching their coverage. So no pressure at all

Wierd effect on 4K from WHL for Tot-Sun. The low elevation of the sun combined with the camera angle and the pitch surface cut gave the impression of a green pond pitch with patchy strobing water, only lasted for seconds, but disconcerting whilst it lasted. I'll try and video the screen on the Friday rerun and post the result.
