I'd heard that there was a plan to share facilities with the Scandinavian rightsholder; hadn't realised that it extended to reporters too. I wonder if it's a mutual arrangement - though more than likely in English only...

Interesting that the report from Malmo on the build-up to Malmo - Real, was from the Swedish rights holder Viasat SportSE's Frida Nordstrand tonight.

An aside, it seems that UEFA have downgraded the UEFA EL, this season, it's notable that pay for links are not being provided, at least in the group stages of the tournament to local broadcaster's feeds from their main site. I'm wondering whether this is partly responsible for BT not filling all it's Extra slots with matches in this phase of the competition.

BT has the broadcast OTA facilities in place to transmit more matches, it seems odd that they are not using all available slots to show matches, without commentary if necessary. Online access is available to them.

For anyone missing the old Europa League theme, BT Sport were nice enough to play it right after the opening credits in their introduction to Liverpool v Rubin Kazan tonight.
BR
Was Liverpool airing on BT Sport 2, rather than BT Sport Europe after the Tottenham game, a fairly late schedule change. I'm sure they were both scheduled for BT Sport Europe earlier in the week, though of course the 6pm/8.05pm kick-offs allow little time for build up of the second match.
SW
Yes, yes and yes, it was changed after the schedules were published in the Radio Times, although they made the change quite a while ago, presumably immediately after it became apparent it would be Klopp's first home match and it could do with more than five minutes build-up. In turn Celtic moved to ESPN.
BT would certainly not want to show a match without commentary.

Not sure if this has been posted before: DixonBaxi's page about their work on the August refresh.
As of last weekend, the breakbumpers (which they refer to as 'brand chants') are being generated live in high-profile programming - for example, the first break after the Mohrinio interview in last week's Premiership coverage had a big blue "nothing to say" bumper (that being pretty much the only thing he said in the interview)
