Arqiva OB1 due to arrive at Bush tomorrow. Looks like PTV are getting a bigger gallery than they have at BH!

Yep. Are they still parking it on the canteen roof?

East Car Park, which is at street level - but has the canteen underneath.

"Wave 1" runs between May and July 2011 and those due to move then include BBC2 hit Dragons' Den, Question of Sport, many CBeebies and CBBC staff, marketing and finance employees in children's and sport, Learning production management and staff in comedy and drama who are already based in Manchester.

Blue Peter will move in July of next year and a new garden for the show will either be built on a roof of a building or in a more accessible place at MediaCity, yet to be confirmed.

Those who will relocate from London to Salford in "wave 2" between August and October 2011 including Newsgathering London and Leeds, some Radio 5 Live management and commissioning staff, most of the BBC Academy, children's show Newsround, CBBC drama and acquisitions, and the Mobile Apps team.

Among the "wave 3" departments set to move in November and December 2011 or in 2012 are the remainder of Radio 5 Live management and commissioning, future, media and technology homepage staff, digital distribution operation North and BBC Breakfast, which the migration plans says is "likely Easter 2012".

What's the thinking behind moving staff from Leeds to Salford?

Think the idea is that the North of England hub is going to be Salford and most correspondents and behind the scenes teams will be based there, though I'd imagine there'll still be one team based in Leeds.

So, Broadcasting House shuts down completely for 3 weeks from this weekend.

There hasn't been a new newsletter on the New Broadcasting House website since December 2009, but I've found the next edition online via the W1W Street Tree Initiative website.

I've uploaded it here...

It does look a very impressive space inside. I only hope they actually use it well on screen!

The phased transfer of programmes/teams out of BH has already started,, but the building does not fully close until COB on the 29th. And IST is expected to last 6 weeks, plus the time taken to migrate people back.

If there is an overrun things could get interesting, as there is a change freeze around Christmas that could prevent people moving back.

Sorry, this could be a stupid question, but are you talking about Manchester or London?
