As a one off special for C4's Black Takeover Day

Channel 4 have announced "Black Takeover Day," where shows for one day, morning to night, will showcase Black talent on and off-screen.

Will include Gogglebox, Countdown, C4 News and new shows.

Countdown will be interesting because it’ll have to feature 3 new stars.

I think Moria Stuart would be a good choice for Countdown lead presenter. My initial thought was Sir Trevor but I think Moria has more warmth and it’ll be a bit more of a departure to have a female host. I assume they’ll go for someone of that ilk.

Where will it come from though? The house is now a private family home.

Maybe they will rent it out for the live show?

Given it’s on that Location site, I think it’s fair to say that they’ll definitely be using the original house

Just because you can see it on that site doesn't mean it will be used. The family might not find it convenient for whatever reason, or the cost to hire it might be too much for Channel 4...

The original house, or even any house is probably not mandatory in any one off remake. By the time we get to 'Autumn 2021' it probably won't even be "The Big Breakfast" in anything other than the name, or even not that name.

Maybe they’ll use Steph McGovern’s house. I’m sure her neighbours won’t mind.

Using their Leeds studio is probably a good shout, as surely by Autumn 2021, "Steph's Lunch" or whatever it's called will probably have been axed
